St. Mary's Tabernacle Society

St. Mary's Tabernacle Society consists of several women who oversee the Church and Chapel Altars. These are the people "behind the scenes" who make our church and sanctuary so beautiful.  Each day they check altar cloths and candles, wash and iron small altar linens and water flowers.  Every week they dust, check altar cloths, order fresh flowers and remove the old, and put new candles out for the weekend.

Throughout the year, it is the Tabernacle Society who prepare the altars for Lent, Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Holy Saturday, Easter, First Holy Communion, Confirmation, Advent and Christmas.

Loving God, help us follow the example of the Blessed Virgin Mary in willingly giving ourselves in service to your church.
