St. Mary's Community Service
"How beautiful a day can be
When kindness touches it" - George Elliston
Cookie Capers- On Halloween and Valentine's Day, we deliver approximately 75-100 bags throughout the community. We start with our Homebound Communion Call list and then add names of people who live alone or who have been sick or who may have recently lost someone.
Thinking of You Baskets- These usually contain a Willow Tree Angel and some baked goods and are delivered to someone who is ill or to someone who lost a family member.
Desserts- We provide desserts for the Senior Luncheon at the Congregational Church during the months of November and April.
Toiletry Bags- We collect toiletries from the Religious Ed. classes and fill approximately 100 bags for the ladies at the Pine Street Inn.
Any additional items are given to other homeless shelters.
St. Mary's has a wonderful tradition of thoughtful support to those in need in our Community. If you would like to add your name to our list of volunteers, please contact Peggy Mahoney, 781-545-0296, Email: email@example.com
